Form I-765

Work permit typing, Form I-765, in Houston, Texas

CPV Multiservices types Form I-765, the work permit application, in Houston, Texas. We complete the form from the information and documents you give us, and check the packet before you sign it. We give you our fee at your appointment, before any work starts. The USCIS filing fee is separate and set by the government. We are not attorneys and give no legal advice.

We type, translate and organize the forms and documents you or your attorney have chosen. We do not choose a procedure, determine eligibility or represent you.

01

I want my work permit

The work permit, the EAD card, is requested or renewed with Form I-765.

What we do with you

If you or your attorney have decided to apply for the permit for the first time or to renew it, we fill out the I-765 with you, check the photos and documents the form asks for, and leave you with the package ready to send.

For example

Your permit expires in a few months and you want to renew it on time. You bring your current permit, your passport and any USCIS notices you have. You leave with the renewal completed and reviewed.

USCIS fees are separate

Government filing fees are separate, set by the government, and paid to the agency. Check the current official fees before filing.

03

Who this is for

You or your attorney have already selected Form I-765. You want help reading the instructions, entering your answers and organizing the documents, in English or Spanish.

04

What the fee covers

  • We read your documents with you, in Spanish or in English, and tell you what each one says.
  • We complete Form I-765 from the information you provide.
  • We check the packet against the form instructions and tell you what is still missing.
  • We print the packet and go through it with you before you sign.
  • We explain the notices USCIS mails you afterwards, in your language.

05

What it does not cover

  • The fee USCIS charges to file. The government sets it, you pay it directly to USCIS, and current amounts are published at uscis.gov/forms/filing-fees.
  • Filing. We do not file your application for you: you, or your attorney, file it.
  • Legal advice. Claudia Perez Vila is not an attorney and is not an accredited representative of the Department of Justice, and we do not represent you before USCIS or in court.
  • The decision. USCIS decides your case, and nobody here can promise an outcome.
  • The choice of what to file. You, or your attorney, decide which form goes in; we type what you decide.

06

Documents to bring

  • Valid passport and identification
  • Form I-765 (Application for Employment Authorization)
  • Two passport-style photos
  • Filing fee payment
  • Supporting immigration documents

Bring the documents you already have. This is a preparation checklist, not a determination of eligibility or an exhaustive list of filing requirements. Follow the current official instructions for the form you or your attorney selected.

Questions about work permits

Can you guarantee my work permit will be approved?

No. CPV types the form selected by you or your attorney using the information you provide, and checks the packet for clerical completeness. Only the government decides the application; no outcome is promised.

What is the difference between a typing and translation service and an attorney?

A typing and translation service types the forms you or your attorney have chosen, from the information you provide. Claudia Perez Vila is not an attorney and does not work under attorney supervision, so we cannot give legal advice, tell you which immigration benefit to apply for, or represent you before USCIS or in immigration court. An attorney is licensed to do all of that. If your case involves a criminal record, a prior removal order, a denial, or a court hearing, consult a licensed immigration attorney through the American Immigration Lawyers Association at ailalawyer.com.

What does our fee cover, and what does USCIS charge?

Our fee is CPV's flat fee for the work permit, and we tell you the amount at your appointment. It is separate from the filing fee USCIS charges to process the application, which you pay directly to the government and which changes over time; current amounts are published at uscis.gov/forms/filing-fees. Discounts apply when you book several services together, and complex cases carry an added fee, which we tell you about before you commit to anything.
