Official government resources
These are the primary sources for immigration information. They are free, they are updated by the agencies themselves, and they are what CPV Multiservices checks when typing your forms. Nothing you read elsewhere, including on this website, replaces them.
- USCIS forms and filing feesEvery official form, and the government fee that applies to it. These fees are paid to USCIS, not to us, and they change.
- Check your case statusFollow your own case with the receipt number on the notice USCIS mailed you.
- Current processing timesHow long USCIS is currently taking, by form and by service center. This is the only reliable answer to how long will it take.
- Fee waiver request, Form I-912If paying the government filing fee is out of reach, USCIS has a documented procedure for requesting a waiver.
- Find a licensed immigration attorneyFor anything involving removal proceedings, a criminal record, a denial or an appeal, you need an attorney, not a typing and translation service.
